Sparks wins national Securitas uniforms tender

Sparks & Ellis, which has been making the security guards’ and managers’ uniforms for Securitas in the Western Cape since 2011 has just been awarded the national Securitas business. This is the first time that Securitas has tendered for its uniform requirements nationally.

Sparks & Ellis CEO, Sue de Wet said:

“We’re thrilled to have won the national Securitas business – one of the largest security companies in the world – and this win effectively doubles their business with us.

“The Securitas tender process was extremely efficient – it was thorough and covered every aspect of their uniform requirements and specifications.  An accurate tender process not only immediately disqualifies companies in the bidding process that are unable to meet the company’s discerning specifications but also it gives us the chance to properly demonstrate our capabilities.  Our tender was submitted in September and a week later we were advised we were on the shortlist with two other companies before being advised last week that we have won the national account.”

“This is prestigious business. Securitas is not only a leading security company internationally but also their SA management team are an absolute pleasure to work with.”
