Sparks & Ellis, South Africa’s leading uniform manufacturer and the pioneers of the top-to-toe uniform – is marking its 90th Anniversary this year with some bold moves. The company moves to brand new premises which are twice the size of their previous office and warehouse, signaling that other moves are in the offing: the company is busy expanding its range of uniforms and can do so now that it has the space – and the orders – to do so.
Managing director of Sparks & Ellis, Sue De Wet says: “We are really optimistic about the future. Our new premises in Montague Gardens are just perfect. We can handle more business, launch new ranges, and deliver an even better service. We have plenty of customer parking and we’re easily accessible from anywhere in Cape Town. We are very excited.”
The new space spans 3500m2 and includes a new showroom, a state-of-the-art warehouse, meeting rooms and plenty of office and admin areas. “We will now be able to better display our ranges and all our products”, adds Sue de Wet, “And our digital design center gives our customers the chance to review their orders within just 48 hours, obviating the need for producing physical samples. We can now focus on developing our new ranges, the first of which are cleaning and catering uniforms.”
